And you wait ages for one bus...

And on my meander through the f-list I see that I've been tagged by [personal profile] acoustics1220 and I am nothing if not obedient (/lie) and a sucker for meme’s to waste time.  However, I shall not tag because mostly I think anyone on my f-list I tagged would point and laugh at me.

A)      People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs & replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

B)      Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.

1. Which celebrity would you like to meet and why?
David Jason.  And beg him to hire me as a writer of a one-hour drama special for him to star him.  Now.  I don’t actually write for TV and haven’t really got anything suitable for a 60+ male that I could convert to TV but I adore David Jason, he is one of my hero’s and I have the (unlikely) ambition of wanting to work with him before one of us dies.

2. What would you do for a
Klondike Bar Beer?
Pay for it?  Wacky notion, no?

3. Current physical related ambition?
To walk across Hadrian’s Wall.  Why?  Honestly, I have no good reason other than I love what that Wall represents and it would be an achievement with the added bonus of many historical sites along the way.

4. What is the city of your dreams and why?
One that I haven’t been to?  Well, I determined to go to
New York next March.  Bloody determined.  And my Italy moped trip in the summer.  There are about 7 different Italian cities that could qualify as the city of my dreams.  But Seattle looks great, being surrounded by water on 3 sides and all.  Couldn’t live somewhere landlocked.  Need to be at the most 30 miles away from the coast (and that’s even pushing it – right now I’m 9 miles away, before I could see it over the damn hill).

5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Both.  I’m a swirling, beautiful mass of contradictions.

6. Who is your favourite composer?
Mozart.  Requiem is wonderful.

7. What's the most important thing someone you like has to have?
Resilience.   It’s latent resilience but I have it.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Because this hasn’t happened before… Well, demonstrate how unbelievably cool, witty, challenging and excellent I am with hours of conversation one night and then months later she’ll have broken up with her girlfriend and we’ll be dating.  Hey, presto!

9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Being emotional retarded and inexplicably uninspired/motivated.

10. Do you have a good body-image?
Nope.  I like my red hair at the moment, though.  And my green eyes.  But they’ve always been green so I’m not as enamoured with them.

11. Is being tagged fun?
As a boxful of puppies.

12. What websites do you visit daily?
hotmail.com, bbc.co.uk/sport/Scotland, mininova.org during TV season and travian.com lately.

13. Who are currently the most important people to you?
Ewan McGregor and Gene Hackman.  Really?  No.

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Fun, kind, friendly, passionate and dare I say introverted?

15. What’s the last song that got stuck in your head?
Katy Pery – I Kissed A Girl.  (Because I’m 12 years old)

16. What’s your favourite item of clothing?
Tartan pyjama bottoms.  Classy and comfortable. I'd wear them outside.  Maybe.

17. What's better: to give or to receive?
Depends who with.  If you’re in love then it’s better to give.  Receiving with everyone else.

18. What's the first thing you notice in people?
Eyes.  Whether they hold themselves with confidence or not.

19: Would you have 100% safe sex with a stranger for $10,000,000?
Rich prostitute able to live dreams and provide for family versus poor, poor honourable person who’s a useless dreamer… Hmm.  I’m a utilitarian.  Get me drunk and make sure she’s pretty.

20: What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite gender?
I’ve never asked.  Knowing my luck, it’d be the same bloody name.  Or Jim.

I have not :/ I have family by Pisa, so I'll need to make that a stop too. There's just so much architecture, art and scenery I'm drawn to. I'm not much for sun holidays, preferring city breaks with stuff to see and do. I'm not a sit by the pool and read a book type. I could do that here.

The freedom of an entire country rolled out in front of me would be awesome too. This moped may have to have a side car as I'm not sure there's too much storage. Then I'll look ridiculous. Hm.. Dilemma.

Have you been to Italy?

I'm really not a sun-and-poolside holiday person either. The best trip I've ever done was 7 weeks inter-railing around Europe a couple of years ago - it's my idea of heaven.

Eh, you'd only need the sort of stuff that would fit in a backpack, and I'm sure you can get some kind of storage container for a moped that would fit that much stuff in. Like on a pizza delivery moped. ;)

I love Italy. I've been to Venice, Rome (twice - it's all about the archaeological sites), Verona, Florence, and Pompeii. One day I'd like to spend a while living there, although god knows which city I'd choose. You should go as soon as you get the chance. Although if you're planning a summer, you need to be prepared for epic levels of heat. We got caught in a heat wave, and oh dear god you just can't move.
