Oh Donna. Oh, oh oh Donna. And the DoctorDonna was so fantastic. I was roaring with laughter and whooping with joy as she started spewing out advanced physics following it up with some of her trademark quips. Love.
I think she's actually the most fascinating character of the new Whoverse (because I am sadly ignorant of the old ways) because of how she changed so much. During the Christmas special, at the climax with her fiance rambling on about how vapid she was (but really just described a huge portion of women in Britain today) and then to have her be changed by the Doctor: the Ood singing songs of her, her ready to die with the Doctor in Pompeii - And then to have her reverted in the finale was heartbreaking.
