lynsangelic1So I'm trying out lj-net. See if it's any good. It was a move motivated by annoyance and laziness that crossposting is a ridiculous task compared to when I joined LJ a million years ago.
Probably with good reason re: trolling - but still.
Anyway, so just used it to update fic and has fucked formatting right up. Formatting is important to me. Needs to look pretty. But this thing decided that font size simply isn't an issue. Neither are hiding hyperlinks.
Think have fallen out with it already... Or maybe I just need to learn how to use it properly, Ack. Will get there.
LJ has been buzzing lately with strikethrough 07. Oh the drama. Myself, I think paedophiles using the internet as a kid buffet needs to be stopped (That's a stupid statement - pretty sure we all do) but the rate of deletion acceleration without proper investigation was ridiculous. It was stupid; a move motivated by money and shares etc but really did nothing but good for fandom. Bit annoyed by the huffy 'I'm upping sticks and leaving LJ f-o-r-e-v-e-r' posts only to see people still kicking about days later.
Ridiculously busy work lately re: Leith festival. The festival season is upon us. Not long til the manic panic of August and all Edinburgers are drunk/sleeping/working in shifts for the entire month. And seeing some shows as well. Of course.
Still in the middle of the ridiculously hard decision to stay or go back west. Here I have a job, a gorgeous new built flat and live in bff's. But west I have no job, no flat but plenty of friends I haven't been with properly for four years. There is possibility of change but it might stall. Here there is a little possibility for change... I don't know.
Apparently can spend 4 days in Riga, Latvia for 90 quid. Amazing. for hotel, rest for flights. Nice hotel as well. Riga looks gorgeous. Apparently pack of 20 cigarettes is 80p. Surely means 3 course meal with wine will be 2 quid? Very tempting, but it'll be end of July. And I lost my passport shortly after getting back from Spain 2 years ago. Entirely useless. Now a passport costs twice as much and I lost my birth certificate.
Argh. Argh. Argh. Annoyed at self for not sorting it out sooner. Stupid stupid arse.
And you know those days when you cannot, for the life of you, find anything you want to be listening to? I poured over entire CD collection and entire mp3 collection and nothing grabs me. Extremely irritating at this time in the morning when all I want to do is write and listen to music. One can't exist without the other.
Yup. So in short, annoyed at new posting client, annoyed at neglecting passport self and annoyed at music in general.

it is incredibly cheap 7 days away to a warm country with prices anywhere between the £9 and £250...
Xtina and I are thinking of jumping over to greece/cyprus round august in a last minute deal :-D
