Freaking insects

I'd forgotton about the huge bloody spiders in the country.  Have just seen two roughly the same size scurry from under my bed to the chair.  Fuck.  Am quite a bit freaking out.  I can only hope it's the same bloody spider who managed to double back without me seeing.  I've got the puppy sleeping at the foot of the bed... She managed to eat a Jenny Long Legs for me last night.  Fast fucking huge spider might be too much for her.  Argh.

Moths and midges and Jennys and Spiders... I'm not an insect friendly person.  Am terrified of spiders, but trying to be a grown up about it all.  Letting it go about its business unharmed.  (Mostly because I'm too scared to go hunting and it's nearly 4am which means too late to get out the hoover.)

Argh.

Was feeling quite happy and elated after finishing the eight chapter of Image of You, sitting here, musing through the friends page when that fucker scuttles past.

Am half considering sleeping on the sofa downstairs.  have done this before, only to be confronted with another spider twice the size.  GodDAMNIT.  Why must you torture me?

I should really buy insect killer and keep it with me at all time for peace at mind.  Yep.  I'm a murderous bitch.  It's so pathetic and illogical to be scared of spiders, but I cannot help myself.  Nor would I want to.  I do not want to be OK with spiders.  Ever.

On a happier note, Scotland did me proud today against Hearts Lithuania.

Sigh.  Am going to catch up on correspondance, re: reply to comments etc and think about sleeping if I haven't seen that eight legged arachnid bastard for a while.




And you know the irony?  Charlotte's Web was my favourite book as a child...

OMG, I fucking HATE spiders. I feel for you and I'm right there with you. As a matter of fact, I'm so there with you I keep seeing shit and jumping! You need to by some bug spray and kill the little fuckers! Good to see you posting and I want you to know I do not read HP fanfic, but I'm having a very difficult time NOT reading yours...some of my friends who write HP will kill me since I refuse to read theirs, but you won;t tell right?

Lol, I promise my lips are sealed.. You might like Image of You to tide you over until I finish the next TIAP chapter. I mean, c'mon, Ginny has red hair. She could be Addison, right? And Izzie.. Well. She freaks out a bit like Hermione. A bit. Maybe not really. Just replace every mention of magic with 'operating theatre', 'scrubs', 'scalpel' or 'seriously?' lmao. That would be a funny experiment. ;)

*It* appeared again and ran straight under my bed. I jumped up, waking the dog who looked at me grumpily and shuffled off the bed. When I called 'Milli! Get the spider! Get the yummy spider!' she just gave me a withering look (well as withering as a dog can do) which said 'It's only a spider. I'm going to bed, you dozy bitch'. So I grabbed my laptop and bolted downstairs. It was seconds away from crawling up the bedsheets... argh! Shouldn't be sharing this with you, it'll only freak you out more!

I'm cowering downstairs, where the wireless is slow as Hell. There are two smaller spiders flanking me in the dining room. but they're up high and sleeping. So I can deal.

It's gonna be one of those nights. Y'know, sleepless nights.

We had a mouse in my house one time and I could have you pee-ing your pants with how me and my aunt and 3 kids dealt with it, it was like a damn circus around here trying to catch it! I hate creepy crawly things in my house....

I wanted to thank you for sending me that last part, I did get it and I loved it but I've not been feeling great this week adjusting to chemo. I am getting used to it now and I seem to have more energy to finally talk to people. YAY!

My goal is too leave you FB on each part at FF.net, is that annoying? if you would rather that I didn't just let me know and will stop. The best part is I've pimped out that story and NOW I can pimp it to people who are not on LJ.

It sucks that your having a sleepless nite, I will be around for awhile. Feel free to bug me! (no pun intended)

Urgh, a shoe is getting too close for me. Once, with a spider on the ceiling, I got a wad of tissue, taped it to the bottom of the leg of a chair and tried to smush it to high heaven.
It didn't work, instead the spider fell. Didn't wait to see if it was dead, I just screamed, dropped the chair and ran!

Thank God, I've never been confronted with a mouse. I'd be a wibbly wreck. I know my aunt had a frog in her house once. It just jumped out from the sofa. For some reason, that doesn't scare me. I think I'd just be completely bemused how it got inside in the first place.

Oh that's totally fine about feedback on ff. I saw you were working your way from the start again ;) Don't worry about the last part (although you know that wasn't the final version? And I dedicated it to you for a late Bday present, yknow, since I got a shiny star and all :) ), I know you have much more important things than fic going on.

Oh God, the dining room spiders are moving! I am actually in Hell!
