For anyone who watches Heroes..

Is it me, or does this season plain suck?

Have the cheesy/hammy/terrible lines really increased tenfold?

Are they just regurgitating a lot of stuff from general superhero canon?

Has the "plot twist" eye-rolling factor soared beyond all comprehension?
(I can think of about seven of these in this season alone)

Do the new characters just seem shallow and pointless?

Do the old characters seem 300% more irritating than they once were?
(For this I'm looking at Hiro, Peter, Nathan, Mohinder.  Maya has actually decreased in the irritation stakes while Parkman continues his incredible,  improbable rise to 5000% more irritating, which increases on weeks that he doesn't even appear)

When did my favourite character become Sylar?
(I actually know the answer to this one.  It was after the "Claire - That's disgusting" line)

Answers?  Any Heroes fans left?


I think we all know my suggestion for making Heroes better.  More.Kristen.Bell.  It's a stopgap, but a very pretty stopgap.

I agree 100%... honestly i was more interested in watching freakin' One Tree Hill, a show that i haven't watched in two years because it sucked ... that is how annoying the Heroes characters are... I used to love Sylar though, now not as much because he isn't as creepy and evil like he used to be...
Elle should just kill everyone and start her own show with awesomer characters.

Sylar was great at being creepy and disgusting and he made my skin crawl (which is I suppose what they were aiming for). But I like him a lot better now. Maybe I've just warmed to him.

Perhaps the Elle n' Sylar show?

haha, the Elle n'Sylar show could be like a crazy sitcom...
or it could be like a talk show. with a live band made up of crazy heroes with lame powers but are still entertaining...
i can see it all now.

i watched the season premiere and haven't watched since. i kind of don't miss it. heroes hasn't impressed me since s1. although i do love elle. k.bell for the win.

Well there's been no KBell since the premiere so you haven't missed a damn thing. Unless it gets better, once Elle leaves the show, I'm totally done. It's getting outrageous.

I jumped off Heroes way back in S2. I got bored and taking a nap seemed a better way to spend my time after watching Olivia Wilde on House.

I have no ideas on how to make it better since they seem to have a surplus of hot girls on this show and that's typically my fix all for shit shows. I can't even count the times I've said, "I wouldn't be watching this show at all if it wasn't for (insert hot girl(s) name(s)."

The show should be fool proof. One or more sexy ladies + super powers = win. But they fucked it up. It's like a baby jesus sized anti-miracle. Indeed.

Sylar is my new favorite character, too. And you're right - everyone really is getting on my nerves. What's with that random plot twist at the end of the last episode? I can't even imagine what this all is going to amount to, but I must say, I have no hope of it making sense.

Totally OT but please continue your excellent fic This is a problem. Pretty please :) It's definately one of the best (maybe the best)Addison/Izzie fics around and needs to be at leat finished properly.
